For successful scholarship applicants, the GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2026 offers:

Full tuition coverage: You won’t pay tuition or deposit fees.
Monthly stipend: Two payment options are available:
• €1,400/month over the full 2-year (24-month) duration without advance travel/installation payment; or
• A slightly lower monthly stipend (approx €1,275) combined with advance/travel and installation payments at specific times.
Travel & installation cost contribution: Helps cover visa, relocation, residence permit, and temporary housing costs.

Duration, Tracks & Universities

Duration: 2 years (24 months) for full-time postgraduate study.
Study Tracks: Several specialization tracks are available. Some examples include:
- Global History & Creative Industries
- Sustainable Business Development
- Industrial Dynamics & Global Business
  etc. Note: one track (Track H) is not recruiting for the 2026 intake.
Students may study across multiple institutions within the consortium depending on the track selected.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2026:

Academic qualifications: You must hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with strong academic performance (often equivalent to UK 2:1 honours or similar).
English proficiency: If your prior schooling was not in English, you will need to provide proof via TOEFL, IELTS or another acceptable test.
Nationality: Open to students from all nationalities. However, there’s a cap of 6 regular scholarships per nationality across the four editions for maintaining geographical balance.
Not having previously held an EMJM scholarship.
Selection criteria: Strong personal statement/motivation (typically weighted heavily), academic merit, quality of references, and relevant experience (research, professional or extra-curricular).
