Eligibility Requirements

Not everyone qualifies for the NHR Scholarship. To maximize your chances, ensure you meet the following criteria:

    You must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, engineering, or a closely related field.

  2. Admission Requirements of the NHR Center
    You must satisfy the doctoral admission rules of the host NHR Center you wish to join. That may include minimum grades, previous research experience, or prerequisites.

  3. Research Proposal / Scientific Fit
    Your proposed PhD topic must align with one of the NHR Center’s research themes—HPC, simulation, AI for computing, numerical methods, etc.

  4. Language Skills / English Proficiency
    You may need to demonstrate proficiency in English (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS) unless your prior education was in English or a recognized substitute is accepted.
