Job Summary

Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Supply Chain Management to oversee procurement, logistics, inventory control, and distribution processes across its operations.

The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team to ensure timely sourcing of materials, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination of supply chain activities that align with the company’s business objectives.

This role requires a combination of leadership, analytical thinking, and strong industry knowledge to manage end-to-end supply chain operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize procurement and logistics operations.

• Lead sourcing and supplier management activities to ensure cost-effective and quality-driven procurement.

• Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and materials control across all production units.

• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, negotiating favorable terms and long-term partnerships.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination between production, procurement, and logistics.

• Develop and manage annual supply chain budgets and cost reduction initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and government regulations in all procurement and logistics activities.

• Utilize data analytics and modern ERP systems to improve supply chain transparency and efficiency.

• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to supply chain staff for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A Master’s Degree or professional certification (such as CIPS, CILT, or APICS) is an added advantage.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in supply chain or procurement roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.

• Proven experience in large-scale manufacturing or industrial operations.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and supply chain management tools.

Salary Range

₦900,000 – ₦1,500,000 monthly (depending on qualifications and experience).
