Position Overview
The Research and Development (R&D) Manager will play a key role in creating innovative chicken and meat products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring consistent product quality. This position requires a results-driven professional with deep technical knowledge of meat processing and a passion for product innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Develop new chicken and meat products aligned with market trends and consumer preferences.

Optimize existing recipes and production processes to improve quality, yield, and operational efficiency.

Conduct research on new technologies, ingredients, and global best practices in meat processing.

Evaluate raw materials, packaging options, and preservation methods to enhance product shelf life.

Oversee laboratory operations, including prototype testing and documentation.

Provide technical support and training to production teams on new products and methods.

Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing departments to conduct product trials and scale-up projects.

Ensure all formulations meet food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Meat Technology, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in product development or R&D within the chicken or meat processing industry.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant industry experience in R&D or product innovation.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to commercialization.
