Job Title: Store Manager

Job Overview
The Store Manager will play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory control, cold chain management, and compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing large-scale store operations within the FMCG or dairy industry, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Warehouse Management

Oversee daily store activities, including receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles to maintain optimal stock quality.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.

Ensure accurate documentation of all inventory transactions using the company’s ERP or inventory management system.

Maintain balanced stock levels to prevent both overstocking and shortages.
2. Cold Chain Management
-
Ensure strict adherence to cold chain protocols for temperature-sensitive dairy products such as yoghurt and milk.

Monitor and record temperature and humidity levels daily to ensure product integrity.

Take immediate corrective measures in cases of temperature fluctuations or equipment malfunction.
3. Quality, Hygiene, and Safety

Maintain top-tier hygiene standards in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP).

Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially for personnel working in cold environments.

Ensure effective pest control and warehouse cleanliness at all times.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team to verify that all products meet company and regulatory standards before dispatch.
4. Logistics Coordination

Plan and coordinate timely dispatch operations while maintaining required temperature conditions.

Supervise logistics operations to ensure refrigerated vehicles are compliant with hygiene and cold chain standards.
5. Leadership & Reporting
-
Supervise and mentor store personnel on inventory control, cold chain handling, and workplace safety.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock movement, temperature logs, and warehouse performance.

Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse or store management (preferably within the FMCG or dairy industry).

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems (ERP, SAP, or Odoo).

Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.

Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Experience handling cold chain logistics for perishable goods such as milk and yoghurt.
Salary and Benefits
