Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the President Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a non-Chinese citizen in good physical and mental health

• Follow the rules and regulations of China and Zhengzhou University

• Demonstrate excellent academic performance and strong research capabilities

• Hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with outstanding results

• Be under 40 years old (or under 45 for Pakistani students with an 18-year education)

• Meet the language requirements:

  • For Chinese-taught programs: HSK4 with 210+ score

  • For English-taught programs:

    • IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 80+ (valid for 2 years)

    • OR English proficiency certificate from previous institution
