Key Responsibilities

As a Bank Teller, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Handling cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately.

• Assisting customers with banking inquiries and providing professional, courteous service.

• Promoting the bank’s products and services to both new and existing customers.

• Ensuring that all financial transactions comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Maintaining accurate cash records and reconciling daily transactions.

• Identifying customer needs and referring them to appropriate banking officers or services.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in any relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

• 1–3 years of experience in banking, sales, or marketing roles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong numerical and analytical ability.

• Must be customer-focused, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
