Job Summary
Global Aluminium Industries is seeking dedicated and professional Waiters / Waitresses to provide high-quality dining service in its staff canteen and hospitality unit.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking meal orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring a clean, friendly, and organized dining environment. You will be an essential part of the team that delivers excellent customer service to employees and guests while maintaining the company’s high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and attend to staff and guests courteously upon arrival in the canteen or dining area.

Take accurate meal and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery.

Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.

Ensure tables are properly set before meal periods and cleared promptly afterward.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dining areas, service stations, and utensils.

Assist the kitchen team by refilling water, clearing used dishes, and ensuring seamless meal flow during rush hours.

Handle minor customer complaints with professionalism and escalate major concerns to the supervisor.

Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards as outlined by company policy and local health authorities.

Support the canteen supervisor in inventory control, such as counting tableware and reporting shortages.

Uphold a positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and a strong commitment to service excellence.
Requirements

Educational Qualification:
-
Minimum of SSCE / OND / NCE qualification.

Additional training or certification in Hospitality Management, Catering, or Customer Service is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a hotel, restaurant, corporate canteen, or catering environment.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Good communication and presentation.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures.

Neat appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Salary Range
₦100,000 – ₦180,000 monthly (depending on experience and performance).
